Brianna Tatiana was signed with Maloof Music, the same label that handles Ali Lohan.

Last Thursday, Brianna walked out on her contract with Maloof, accusing the company of “extremely unorthodox business practices and lies.

Allie: Tell us what happened with Maloof Music. When did you sign with them, what did they do - what did they not do?

Brianna: I signed with Maloof Music in early 2008. I had contacted all of the major record labels as well as some independent labels, as I knew it was time to get going with my music, but hadn’t received any offers to my liking. Finally, I flew to The Palms in Vegas and met with the team at Maloof. My father was with me, and they presented us with a contract - which was thrilling - however, there were a LOT of problems. Thankfully we managed to sort them out.

As time went by I recorded and recorded, constantly asking them when promotion for my music was going to start. The answer was always “soon.” The real answer was “never.” Never once did they keep a single promise… not once.

After a long period of not hearing from a single person, I received a phone call and was told that it was time to release the single, my single cover’s photo was ready to go, and their graphic designer was on it. I said no - I wanted the graphic designer I hired to do the cover. After what felt like pulling teeth, they obliged.

Well, the picture I received, believe it or not, was of a British musician who looked similarly to me. They made an under the table deal to use her image as mine, no questions asked. I immediately called Maloof and threw a fit. I was eventually told if I didn’t want to release the single, I could leave Maloof. I was terrified to leave my record label. I was depending on them for a successful musical career. Stupidly of me, I agreed to use the picture. It wasn’t released to a wide audience at all, but the people who did see it immediately recognized this British individual and accused ME of pretending to be her; of stealing her photo. I was mortified. I tried to put it behind me, as my single “Invisible” was set to be released that week. Well, the single came out, however, I wasn’t singing it. They released the demo version, sung by a friend of mine named Alexa, instead of MY version. Mortified - again. That’s when I walked. No more Maloof. It was, overall, a horrific experience that nearly drove me out of the music industry.

Allie: Do you think there will be any ramifications as a result of walking out of your contract, or do they even care?

Brianna: There will definitely be ramifications. I’m now releasing my album, “Colors of a Girl,” independently. I’m sure sales won’t be nearly as high. Promotion won’t be nearly as widespread as it could have been. Access to great producers and songwriters is much more difficult now. Yes, definite ramifications.

Allie: When I first heard your music, my initial thought was Alicia Keys. Who have you been compared to musically?

Brianna: Wow, thank you very much! I love Alicia Keys, she’s a huge inspiration. Most of the time I’m compared to JoJo, actually. I’ve been compared to Christina Aguilera (another out-of-this-world honor), Britney Spears, and even Norah Jones. I won’t name the negative comparisons (laughs).

Allie: Who writes your songs? What inspires the lyrics?

Brianna: I actually write all of my music, sometimes alone and sometimes with professional songwriters. I’ve worked with some amazing people, including Kara DioGuardi, Lady GaGa, Adam Bertrand, and Ryan Tedder. It’s been unbelievable.

Read the rest of the interview, after the jump!

Allie: What inspires you to do what you do?

Brianna: What inspires me… oh gosh. Everything! Life! It all depends, sometimes I’ll be in the middle of a conversation and get an idea for a song. Other times it takes time, and I have to sit and wait for it to come. I’ve even woken up in the middle of the night several times to write down ideas inspired by dreams. I think all songwriters tend to write about their life experiences, though.

I’m definitely inspired to do what I do by my love of music, my love of acting, my love of modeling and all things photography, and the desire to reach other people - whether that be through songs, movies, or photos. If I can change even one life for the better, it’s all worth it.

Allie: How long have you been singing?

Brianna: I’ve been told I’ve been singing since I was four. I remember I got a Barbie karaoke machine and sung Mariah Carey’s “Hero.” My mom tells me everyone was blown away. I’m just like, “seriously? ‘Hero,’ at FOUR? Wow, go me!” (laughs again)

Allie: I’ve noticed that you’ve dabbled in acting, is this something that you want to continue to pursue as well?

Brianna: Acting is definitely a passion and something I want to pursue. I was first on film when I was 15, for MTV’s “My Super Sweet Sixteen.” That wasn’t such a great experience, so I dropped out of the acting scene for a while. However, I recently was cast as one of the female leads in Dreamworks’ “The Ring Three,” which is so exciting, because I loved the first two movies. I’ll also be appearing in an upcoming episode of The CW’s “The Beautiful Life,” which is actually airing on YouTube now!

Allie: What’s next for you?

Brianna: What’s next for me… well, I just shot a campaign for Stuart Weitzman, and I’ve been hired to shoot another in the coming months. Two films, “Nonstop” and “Bleachers” are coming. “Nonstop” is great; it’s about a flight that’s intercepted mid-trip by aliens. “Bleachers” is a comedy. But, of course, the main focus is the music! “Colors of a Girl” is set to come out by 2010 or very, very shortly thereafter, along with single releases. I’m sure there’s plenty of modeling in my future as well, that just sort of comes in waves all of the sudden.

Brianna has basked in the public spotlight since birth - her father is one of the country’s top attorneys, Howard Weitzman. Mr. Weitzman has worked for clients such as O.J. Simpson and Paris Hilton.

Here at Allie Is Wired, we pride ourselves on finding the best music for our readers. So, if you haven’t heard of J.R. King yet, then allow us to introduce him to you.

J.R. King is an enigma when it comes to music. His versatility gives him the power to resurrect hip hop and R&B and carry it on his shoulders.

Born in Chicago, IL on January 21, 1987, J.R. began his music venture in 1998 writing poetry. By the year 2000, he was part of a local R&B group called Innovation and signed to independent label, Verse-A-Tyle Entertainment.

J.R. began recording his debut album ‘Rebel 4 The Hell of It‘ in early 2001. By February, due to financial differences, J.R. left Verse-A-Tyle Entertainment, leaving his album unfinished.

In March 2001, J.R. signed to Diamond Cut Productions where he took songs from ‘Rebel 4 The Hell of It’ and collaborated them with a series of new songs and released his debut album ‘The Gameplan of a Changed Man‘ in April 2001.

Receiving positive mass reviews on the album, he was quickly compared to the late Tupac Shakur. Many believed that with his swagger on the records, he could possibly be either the next or even better than Shakur.

In 2002, J.R. re-signed with Verse-A-Tyle, re-inventing himself and his image into that of a more dark lyricist. On January 21, 2002, he released third album titled, “Genesis”. During this darker period, he went under the stage name, “Prophecy”.

In 2004, J.R. created his own artist label called “One Nation”. In 2005, J.R. left the group B.N.I.C. to continue his solo career.

To talk to the singer himself, you can follow him on Twitter.

The new Director’s Cut from Britney Spears’ video for “3″ has just been released.

Britney Spears' '3' Director's Cut - Video

If you’re wondering what the difference is between the two videos, I can tell you that so were we. But after further examination, we definitely like this one a lot better.

We’ve noticed that this version is much hotter than the first and features more of Brit rolling around on the floor and dancing sexy. I’m guessing this ought to boost even more sales for “The Singles Collection”. (PS-There’s still time to enter our contest to win the collection HERE!)

Brad Paisley’s Boob Job Joke for Kellie Pickler – Photos, Video

In spring of 2007 the American Idol crooner faced boob job rumors after appearing to have doubled her cleavage. TMZ ran a poll in which 87% of voters thought her breasts were fake. The story blew over and Tiger Woods became a whore.

Now, Brad Paisley is reportedly reheating the Kellie Pickler boob job rumor. Paisley and Pickler toured through 2008 together and he is apparently an expert fake boobie detector. He was convinced that she had gotten a breast augmentation. He decided that on the last day of their tour to prank her with a video that contained photoshopped images of her. This obviously happened over a year ago, but Brad went bragging about it and once again raised the plastic surgery question again.

“It was her last show, so we produced a video. We called it, ‘You be the judge.’ We showed photos of her before and after American Idol and just asked if anything was different. As most of you know, cosmetically, something is different. “She had to walk out onstage to it (the photos).”

What do you think? Was it a harmless practical joke or did he go too far?

Behind the Scenes of Beyonce and Gaga’s ‘Video Phone’

Here is a behind the scenes look at Beyonce and Lady Gaga’sVideo Phone’ video shoot. B and Gaga put the video together after an impromptu called Besus had made to get Gaga in the vid. She learned the choreography in less than a day and got along swimmingly with the “Single Ladies” singer.

The collaboration produced a video that had mixed reviews. NY Daily called it:

Probably unintentional allusion, the “Video Phone” clip seems about as innovative as a rotary dial up.

Ouch. Regardless, rumors that this won’t be the last joint effort by Beyonce and Gaga are starting to once again bubble. She was so pleased in working with Lady, she “can’t wait to do it again.” Both women will also being facing off at the Grammy’s for Song of the Year. “Poker Face” and “Single Ladies” will duke it out against “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon,
“You Belong With Me” from Taylor Swift and “Pretty Wings” by Maxwell.

Did Eminem Use A Gay Slur Toward Adam Lambert?

Filed in: Celebrities, Celebrity Couples, Celebrity News, DVD Download, Entertainment, Fashion, Gossip Girl, Gossip Girls, Hip-Hop, Movies, Videos, celebrity, download movies, free download, free movies online, music, news, online movies, tv-guide, twitter, watch movies, watch movies online by Roberta on 12-09-09

Eminem’s newest release, “Relapse: The Refill” has leaked last week and there has been some conspiracy over the language, as usual.

Did Eminem Use A Gay Slur Toward Adam Lambert?

As usual, Em goes after a target or five, and this time his target was “American Idol” runner-up, Adam Lambert.

On one of the tracks, “Elevator”, Eminem attacks Adam with what appears to be a homosexual slur. Even Adam noticed it when he tweeted, “Wow eminem mentioned me in a song?! I must be doin something right!? Even if he used the f word…. Whtev.”

The lyrics are actually, “Sorry, Lance, Mr. Lambert and Aiken ain’t gonna make it/ They get so mad, when I call them both fake/ It’s all these f—ing voices in my head, I can’t take it/ Someone shut that f—ing baby up, before I shake it.”

When he raps “fake it” quickly, he does sound like a slur, but Adam has pointed out, “Oh he says “fake it” my bad”.

Eminem has denied using the slur in his song, but it is really close. What do you think? You can hear the full song here at Youtube.

Even though she finished fourth on the last season of “American Idol” — winning over millions of fans and drawing comparisons to a young Kelly Clarkson in the process — Allison Iraheta still couldn’t believe it when her debut album, Just Like You, hit stores earlier this week.

So she had to see it for herself.

Lily Allen Quits ?!?

British pop star Lily Allen announced that she will be taking a few years off from music and plans to start a record label for new artists. While on her career break, Allen also plans to enter the fashion world by setting up a fashion shop called “Lucy In Disguises” with her sister which will allow people to get “really nice clothes” by renting them from the store.

“It’s about making fashion democratic,” she said. “That’s the idea behind it. It’s about getting really nice clothes but letting people rent them for affordable prices so they can go out and feel like a million dollars and it won’t cost them a million dollars.”

Allen also told the BBC that she also wanted to “spend some time in the home I’ve built for myself”. While speaking to Radio 1, she said that she is in the early stages of attempting to sign artists up to her new label.

“I’m going to get into signing new bands but at a really early level,” she explained. “I don’t want to compete with other record companies but I want to support new artists.”

This comes days after she spoke to Observer Music Monthly, and said that she was undecided whether or not she would want to record another album. Her last scheduled concert is in March at the O2 Arena in London. After that, Allen is distancing herself from the music world. She also breifly touched on the subject of her Twitter and Myspace, saying that she’s “stopped everything” and she doesn’t have a computer or a blackberry. She says she “don’t do emails or anything now.” How you expect to set up a record label and fashion boutique without emails, a phone, and even Twitter or Myspace is beyond me, though. I’m sensing a huge fail down the road.
