04Joe Francis Threatens Lawsuit Against Madonna Over “Girls Gone Wild” Song
Filed in: Gossip Girls by admin on 02-04-12

Sultan of sleaze Joe Francis is threatening to sue Madonna if she performs her new song known as “Girls Gone Wild” at the Super Bowl tomorrow. Yes, really.
Francis, creator of the infamous Women Gone Wild franchise, in which he films drunk girls exposing themselves on spring break, is evidently dead significant.
He has issued a stop and desist letter proclaiming he will just take legal action in opposition to Madonna if she sings that specific tune at this weekend’s festivities.

The letter (sent to Madonna, NBC Universal and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell) from Francis’ Nevada law firm David Houston, states that:
“[Francis] turned conscious of Madonna’s new track based on the presales of her new album MDNA, as the #1 track on the album is ‘Girls Gone Wild.’”
“Mr. Francis and Ladies Gone Wild have worked tirelessly for an extra of two many years to build his manufacturer and to safeguard his trademark Girls Gone Wild.”
“Ladies Gone Wild’s trade identity and trademark are equally really important property which my client need to protect vigorously,” the letter continues.
The letter promises Madonna has “violated Federal and Condition trademark guidelines by generating unauthorized use of Mr. Francis’ trademark Ladies Gone Wild.”
For what it is worth, it seems to be like she wasn’t going to sing it anyways.
Madonna’s set list reportedly incorporates “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” “Ray of Light” and “Vogue,” along with “New music” and “Getaway.” No GGW action.
Houston tells E! News with regards to the set listing, “That would be a wise selection on her element.” Very good luck obtaining it off the album and iTunes, though.

11’2 Broke Girls’ Creator Takes Heat For Sitcom’s Stereotypes, “Classy-Dirty” Humor: TCA
Filed in: Movie Clip by admin on 01-11-12![]()
Diane Haithman is contributing to Deadline’s TCA coverage.
At today’s contentious TCA panel on two Broke Women, creator/executive producer Michael Patrick King defended the comedy versus continuing criticism that it traffics in ethnic stereotypes. The heated exchanges left King dissatisfied by the conclude of the session, when he said he arrived considering the panel was likely to be fun. As when the demonstrate arrived on the air, the questions mostly centered on Asian character Han Lee (Matthew Moy). “I’m gay. We put in gay stereotypes — I don’t get offended by any of this,” said the producer throughout the panel with stars Kat Denning and Beth Behrs. “I come across it comic to take everyone down.” A questioner weren’t going to permit him off that simply, asking if becoming part of a marginalized group provides a single license to stereotype others. King shot back: “I would say it’s about being a comedy writer. It presents you permission to be an outsider and poke enjoyable at what men and women think about other individuals.”
King bristled at additional issues about regardless of whether CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler had exclusively asked King to “dimensionalize” characters over and above the stereotypes. When pressed, King acknowledged Tassler had employed the phrase “dimensionalize” but mentioned: “The characters are dimensional. And they are witnessed in segments of 21 minutes you are minimal in the volume of dimension you can see.” To his questioner, he extra heatedly: “I will get in touch with you in five years” to see if the critic would find the characters fleshed out.” While denying the overuse of ethnic stereotypes, King did say he was proud that after the very first 3 episodes of the collection, the Han Lee character has only been the butt of short jokes, not Asian jokes.
King was also named upon to defend the show’s wide humor — it has turn out to be recognized as the display that enjoys the phrase “vagina.” “Our show is a huge, ballsy comedy, but it has a bigger heart than it has balls,” he said. Asked regardless of whether “ballsy” humor is proper for an 8:30 PM demonstrate, King mentioned: “Let me right you, the concern is, is it proper to 8:thirty on CBS in 2012? 8:30 on CBS in 1994” would be a diverse tale, he ongoing. He additional: “I take into account our jokes elegant-dirty, highbrow-lowbrow. If the demonstrate existed only in naughty jokes without having pathos, I would be disappointed.”
After the session, King said he was shocked by the criticism. “I came here contemplating it was heading to be a blast — about enjoyable, not this skewed viewpoint,” he said.

10‘Sh-t Girls Say… To Gay Guys’ Is Another Socially Conscious Response To The ‘Sh-t Girls Say’ Meme
Filed in: Movie News by admin on 01-10-12Of course, the “Shit Ladies Say” meme is starting up to get truly tired, what with the variously offensive drunk/extra fat/racially-stereotyped responses that have cropped up in the last handful of weeks. But when the video is really calling out the other individuals who make straightforward jokes, then we have to put it in the constructive column.
Nicola Foti is close friends with Franchesca Ramsey – creator of the howlingly humorous “Shit White Girls Say… to Black Girls” online video — and he’s equally struck gold with his gently vital “Shit Girls Say… to Gay Guys.” Like Franchesca, who had no “costume” aside from a blonde wig, he helps make no attempt to conceal that he’s a man it adds a layer of hilarity that it’s an unshaven Nicola having this conversation with his “gay boyfriend.”
I assume we’ve all been guilty of at minimum a single of these:
“We are so gonna get drunk and make out.”
“So there’s this gay guy at the salon I go to… He’s 53, with salt-and-pepper hair.”
“So am I your fag hag?”
“You’re, like, practically a girl.”
“No offense, but are you gay?”
“You’re gay, you’re intended to know these points!”
