Nate Lowman has been wearing his Panama Boater hat all over Paris. It’s not the first time we’ve seen this topper on him, but it’s certainly the most often! I love this hat and think it’s a silly and fun fashion statement to make.

Jessica Alba will be taking a risk on October 19 this year.

Jessica Alba is set to join ranks with six writers, six directors and twenty-seven actors (including her) to produce a theatre production in only 24 hours!

The play will be held at Atlantic Theatre Company at Linda Gross Theatre and will boast names such as Mary Steenburgen, Ted Danson, Kristen Johnson, Jason Ritter, and of course, best of all, Jessica Alba.

Atlantic has produced over 100 plays in the past including Spring Awakening and The Cider House Rules.

Tickets start at $150 just for the show and go all the way up to $2,500 for a “Gold Ticket.”

Sounds like any ticket to this show will be a hot one!

Ashley’s in Paris too! Ashley and Mary-Kate were spotted shopping with their boyfriends, Justin Bartha and Nate Lowman, on Sunday. It looks like Mary-Kate picked up something from Lanvin.

It’s great to see that the foursome seems to get along so well. They went to the US Open together and there have been several sightings of all of them out and about in New York and Los Angeles.

It’s too bad Ashley didn’t go to any of the shows during Fashion week, but she hasn’t done so in a few years. I guess she’s really cultivating her persona as a designer and not a celebrity!

So here are a few things we know now:

1. Kathy Najimy — you know her as Sister Mary Patrick from “Sister Act” and the voice of Peggy from “King of the Hill” — will appear as a cop on an upcoming episode of the show.

2. She’ll be investigating an attack, according to TV Guide. I assume it’ll be the attack on Julie, but maybe there’s another one coming up?

Either way, I’m excited to see her. I LOVE Kathy. She’s got that ridiculous amount of energy that always seems to escape from her in that robust laugh. She’d be a GREAT cop, too.

P.S. Kathy also acted alongside Teri Hatcher in “Soapdish” in 1991.

Are on-again, off-again couple Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake broken up? A two-month old rumor says yes, but no one seems to quite know for sure!

Despite the rumor, which has apparently been ongoing since August, the couple, who began dating in 2007, were spotted hand-in-hand during what was supposed to be a “romantic weekend” in Northern California this week.

People magazine says that even though they may technically still be together, they seem to have hit a rough patch and are spending time away from each other more often, and more time with friends instead. They also point out, though, that they’ve both been busy with upcoming projects and do plan to participate together in Summit on the Summit, a climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise awareness of the clean water crisis.

Jessica looks to have a ton of projects on her plate, with five upcoming movies — two set for a 2009 release and three in 2010 — including The A-Team movie, and eight more currently in development!

Justin is gearing up for several concerts and charity events, including the Shriners Hospitals For Children Golf Open in Las Vegas next week.

Singer and songwriter, Mat Kearney has recently said that he’s happy to be working with American Idol winner, Kris Allen, saying that he’s “the real deal.”

Kearney told MTV News that they joined together in August actually made some great music. He reveals, "We wrote a song and it’s awesome." On how the two started working together, "I think [Kris] was just a fan. What he told me was that he was just picking bands that he liked [to collaborate with].”

When the two finally got to recording the song, Mat says it was like magic. "He sang it in, like, one take and it was amazing. I was like, ‘You should enter some sort of singing contest. You could do something with that.’ That guy can sing."

Not only did he sing well, but apparently Kris is a great songwriter to. Mat gushes, "Someone wants to ‘write’ a song with you, you’re like, ‘Great, you want to come over and I’ll write a song so you can be co-writer.’ He was awesome, and he had amazing input and he had a really strong sensibility. … I was like, ‘Wow, this guy’s the real deal!’ "

Kearney admitted to not really knowing much about Kris, only that he had a wife and was the “cute” guy.  He adds “And I knew he had sung [Kanye West's] ‘Heartless.’ "

They really seem to have hit it off! I’m glad they both had a great time and I definitely cannot wait to hear what that song is.

As you might remember, Marcia Cross‘ husband, Tom Mahoney, was diagnosed with cancer in January.

Well, good news: She told usmagazine.com that he’s doing really well.

“He is healthy, and he is doing great,” she said.

She also said she hasn’t gotten a chance to see the new “Melrose Place,” and that she will not be guest starring on the show — not that she’s got any time (what, with better show and twins an’all…)

Guest star Hilary Duff was back on the Gossip Girl set Tuesday filming scenes with Penn Badgley and Jessica Szohr in Chelsea, New York.

Duff is guest-starring as Olivia Burke, a movie star who is trying to have a normal college experience. We will meet Duff’s character Olivia for the first time in the fourth episode which will air this Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. The episode is called “Dan de Fleurette.”
