Zac Efron might just be dabbling in Satanism. The actor was said to have shot a cat in the head 17 times with a pellet gun.

The cat, a nine-year-old named Smokey sauntered home with the pellets in his head and laid down at his owner’s doorstep.

A source close to the kitty said that Zac Efron allegedly shot Smokey with the pellet gun. Cops on the scene said the incident was “a shocking act of animal cruelty.”

The source said, “I was just really shocked that Zac Efron could take an animal and literally hold them down and just keep shooting them.”

Police Sergeant Jim Solvang said that the medical examiner found 13 pellets in the cat’s head and face. He said, “This is just a shocking incident where Zac Efron either working alone or in a group, perhaps with the rest of the High School Musical cast, has shown no regard for animal life and left Smokey for dead.”

Smokey had the pellets removed while under sedation. Henry White, a rep for the Australian Society for the Prevention of Cruely to Animals said that Zac might be dabbling in Satanism.

He said, “It’s a pattern that we’re seeing with Zac Efron and there’s only one way to deal with it, and that’s jail.”

So sad. Sounds like Zac needs some therapy or something. What a heinous act!
