Tiger Woods is having a really bad month after several years of bad decisions. The highest paid athlete in the world has been under the microscope over the last several weeks as it’s come to light that he’s had several mistresses and long-running affairs during his five year marriage.

He posted on his website this weekend that he’s decided to take an indefinite hiatus from golfing to spend some time working on his family and marriage:

“After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.”

Over the last two weeks, eleven women have come forward saying that Tiger engaged in an affair with them. Though Tiger’s wife Elin Nordegren has apparently stated that she won’t be leaving him just yet, the terms of their pre-nup have been tweaked and the couple are apparently in “intense marriage counseling,” during which Elin has written up a list of conditions Tiger must meet.
