The Runaways movie review bases on the film which set to be release on this March, 19, 2010.  This movie really based on the biopic of female rock band of the same name. The Runaways sets on 1970s where gang of girls rocks the world with music.

Cherie Currie, the lead singer of real Runaways band, has written autobiography on 1989 as Neon Angel: The Cherie Currie Story which became source for this movie. According to her autobiography many true facts could be include to The Runaways movie such as their bitter childhood and drug uses.

In this summer old iconic female rock band will come to Mega Theater for make you rock. This old rock band became marvelous topic for the director Floria Sigismondi, writer, director and photographer. This Italian director well documented all details of old rock band and carefully evolves one by one.

This movie was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24. The movie depict Jett’s band of rock which named as The Runaways on 1970s at L.A. It is well combine with music and the youth which can make you very. Team of teenagers go wild and use their lives so reckless way. It is the main plot of this movie.

This movie follows Jett and Currie who make sign in music field. They make value of street kids of L.A. They make rebellious girls, rock stars in the country. It was new turn of future. Kim Fowley carried this gang in to the top of the success ladder while they have to loose their family. When they crazy with rock music, all girls make own sign in the music world. The Runaways band quickly caught people heart by filling sexy and touches dances with rock n roll music. Joan is the main person at the stage and Cherie fascinate others with sexy mama type dances. They look like free bird as they live without any kind of responsible or care.

Kristen Stewart plays Joan Jett character in this The Runaways movie. According to her character she was rhythm guitarist who introduced her as heart of the band. She has done nice portraying in this movie.

Dakota Fanning also appear in this movie as Cherie Currie. Though she still little her portrayed seemed like mature one.

Scout Taylor-Compton plays Lita Ford character and there are sets of films set to be release on near future such as Triple Dog , Murder World and Love Ranch .

Joan Jett is the main character of The Runaways movie. In real life she is the main and attractive rock guitarist in the band. She seemed like heart in the band. She teamed up with Sandy West and made a new rock band as The runaways. She was a vocalist, guitar player, writer for her band. She is wonderful character since 1970s to today.

Cherie Currie known as vocalist of The runaways band. She was vocalist, actress and musician. She had great ability make others so happy with her sexy booty dances and sweet voice. She has written Neon Angel: The Cherie Currie Story which revealed her private life with drugs, alcohol and The Runaways band. Finally she was married actor Robert Hays but unfortunately they are now divorced.

Lita Ford is the main guitarist in this band. Her real name is Carmelita Rosanna Ford who gains big popularity with her solo singing carrier. In her 17s she teamed up with coming up rock band The runaways.

Sandy West is an initial member of The runaways band. She and Joan Jett were built this band which finally became most popular rock band. Sandy was played as drummer for this band. But unfortunately she was aimed to lung cancer and dies in 2006. No one can fill her position ever as a professional female drummer in rock n roll history.

Kim Fowley is the only male character in this band as a producer. Finally all girls band gave up him under situation what was there. He is still working as producer and recorder. He was co founder of The runaways band.
Micki Steele was a member of The Bangles band after broke up of The runaways and she was sung Walk Like an Egyptian” and “Eternal Flame” which became hot songs of those days.

Jackie Fox was bassist for his band and now she is a lawyer.

Vicki Blue was bassist and just appeared on Waitin’ for the Night and And Now… The Runaways songs albums.
Laurie McAllister also bassist and after apart of The runaways band she joined   to another Kim Fowley all-girl band, The Orchids.

Rodney Bingenheimer was radio DJ.

I can not measure popularity of this movie. But this definitely will be hit as twilight’s fames Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning already made huge buzz around the world. They changed their vampire story theme and come to play mature characters. The director of this movie has thought well and signs with A-listed cast. This trick can grab many people.

Many years ago, may be on 1979 or near year, Jett and Kenny Laguna discussed to make a film about The runaways movie but unfortunately it could not complete and 1984 there were another video about band which never watched it as it was not released. it took much enough time to release The runaways movie. May be this movie will come under PG-13. I hope to see this movie with number of rock n roll music.
